We live in such a broken world. Tonight I find myself in this place where my soul is weary and my heart just grieves the circumstances of those around me whom I love. When I made a decision to follow Christ I also made a promise to try to live more like him. Knowing that I will always fall short, but I still made the commitment to give every effort in dong so. Often times what Christ asks of me is the very last thing I want to do. But then there are those times where nothing seems right. Where the Bible doesn't give a direct yes or no and it's left to us and our convictions. I feel that I am truly finding out what dying to myself means. I want to speak my voice, defend myself or others, say it like it is. However I know that God calls me to a higher standard. To choose my words carefully, to put others before myself, to love and love well, no matter circumstances. How great his love is for us! As raw and painful as life can sometimes be I can't help but feel so loved. Because it is in those times when no one can control anything that God reminds me that he is my precious Father. He is the only one who won't ever disappoint me, he is the only one who can take my pain away, and he promises to always be there for me. I can take comfort in knowing that he is always in control and that there is nothing more powerful then him. That he can change anything with the blinking of an eye. God is good and can be trusted. He is the first one cheering for me in the morning and the last one at night. I know that I did nothing to deserve his power full and unending love for me, but I am abundantly grate full that he chose to give his sons life for me. No matter how hard this life gets nothing can compare to his sacrifice!

So I know I added WAY to many pictures, but I know Grandma loves them! ;) It's been forever and I'm sorry at least I can still use kids as an excuse! So whats new with us? Travis business has started taking off and he is doing really well for his first year. He loves it to so that's good, he has to get better about drinking water though he kinda had a scare with some pretty bad heat exhaustion. Works been good for me, I just love it. As of today I am officially getting to take a trip with 4 other girls from work to Vegas so that is pretty exciting for me! Jayden and Avery are growing like crazy I can hardly believe it. Avery just had her YEAR birthday!! Jayden has been so much fun always saying things that just crack me up. Unfortunately at the same time she has turned into a little pill at times. It's a good thing there so stinkin cute! Other then that life has been good. We have our up days and down days as always, but God continues to be so faithful to us. I know that even on those days I want to rip my hair out that he is refining me and teaching me to be something better then I am!

So this is where Jayden puts her baby dolls when it's time for them to go to bed. Today she climbed up there and said that was where she was gonna take her nap.....don't worry she didn't.

We were stuffing some eggs at churh for the easter egg hunt. It was a lot fun! ....other then Brock filling one with DISGUSTING jelly beans and giving them to me to eat. It's all good though, I don't get mad I get even! I will say that Jayden and Addison had there fare share of candy for the day. :-)
